Since 2009, Diego Aguilera has worked as an independent architect, integrating a professional corporation named "DIEGO AGUILERA ARCHITECT PC." and working with a wide network in NYC and abroad. In this regard have been worked: legalization of existing conditions; violations solutions at DOB; approvals of Certificate of Occupancy; Basement conventions'; (1 to 2) & (2 to 3) residential conventions; and complete buildings renovations; in residential and commercial buildings.
All section of the architectural work has been performed. Preliminary Design; Design Development, Construction Documents, BID set, and Construction Administration.
An other important professional activity has been the participation in international design contest like Atlantic City Boardwalk Holocaust Memorial, and City Museum Medellin 2010 and FarRoc. Simultaneously Mr. Aguilera has developed a few projects out of the United Estates of America
