With 30 years of experience Diego Aguilera has design and built hundreds of buildings and Interior Design projects in several countries. On 2015 his company DAAPC was ranking 19 on the most active architect in Brooklyn NY. http://therealdeal.com/2016/01/05/these-architects-dominate-bk-and-queens-resi-development/  His projects and essays are in several printed and internet publications in different languages; he has been Award-winning in few international design contests, invited to give lectures in France, Spain, Italy United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico & Colombia.  As well as, teaching in some universities, and a juror in recognized architectural biennales. Hotels, Casinos, Residential towers, Schools, Gyms, Offices Corporations, Retail Malls, Supermarkets, Restaurants, Single-Family Residences, Transportation, Health and Cultural facilities are part of his production.

Since 2009, Diego Aguilera has worked as an independent architect, integrating a professional corporation named "DIEGO AGUILERA ARCHITECT PC." and working with a wide network in NYC and abroad. In this regard have been worked: legalization of existing conditions; violations solutions at DOB; approvals of Certificate of Occupancy; Basement conventions'; (1 to 2) & (2 to 3) residential conventions; and complete buildings renovations; in residential and commercial buildings.

All section of the architectural work has been performed. Preliminary Design; Design Development, Construction Documents, BID set, and Construction Administration.

An other important professional activity has been the participation in international design contest like Atlantic City Boardwalk Holocaust Memorial, and City Museum Medellin 2010 and FarRoc. Simultaneously Mr. Aguilera has developed a few projects out of the United Estates of America
